Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts

The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts is a multi-disciplinary arts center, serving over 2,000 square miles of the Adirondack Park. The Arts Center provides services to the non-profit field as a presenter, producer and educator in the artistic disciplines of visual arts, theater, music, dance, and film throughout the Adirondack region.

Nearby Hiking Trails

Across from the Adirondack Experience on Route 28 you will find the trailhead for Blue Mountain. The Blue Mountain Trail to Blue Mountain Fire Tower is a 4.2 mile trail rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and snowshoeing and is best used from May until October. 

Also, a favorite is the Castle Rock trail. The trailhead parking is located at the end of Maple Lodge Road off of Route 28. The Castle Rock Trail is a 2.8 mile trail rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from May until September.

The Wild Center, formerly known as the Natural History Museum of the Adirondacks, is a natural history center in Tupper Lake, New York, near the center of New York state's Adirondack Park.
